Effective April 6, 2015 there will be a change in Unimatic programming that will alter the way the Crew Scheduling notifies Payroll that drafting pay is applicable. This change primarily affects those circumstances where a Flight Attendant is drafted mid-sequence for part of an ID. The programming change will identify the point at which the crew (for multi-position IDs) or the Flight Attendant (for single position IDs) was drafted.
The following is an example of a mid-sequence domestic draft for a three position ID. Note the ‘D’ prior to flight number 571. Once Crew Scheduling drafts the crew and completes the action in Unimatic, the ‘D’ will display at the point in the ID where the Flight Attendant(s) has been drafted and the 2:30 drafting pay will be posted in the DFAPs of the drafted Flight Attendant(s).
