As provided in Section 10.D.1.a.(2) provides the company, at their discretion, may build Reserve lines with up to sixteen (16) calendar days off in a month, subject to a proportionate reduction in guarantee.

The company is building lines with up to 16 days off in the following domiciles: BOS, DEN, HNL, HKG, LAS, LAX, LHR, NRT, ORD and SEA. A Detailed list of which domiciles have which Reserve day off patterns is available on our website

If you did not bid for, and were awarded one of these lines Section 10.D.1.a.(4). states - No later than three (3) days prior to the schedule change (first day of the new month) – a Reserve who did not bid for, but was assigned a line with the number of days exceeding the monthly applicable minimum number of days off (12), at her/his option, may contact Crew Scheduling to be assigned additional days of availability and have her/his Reserve minimum guarantee adjusted (back to 78 hours).

Not bidding means you may not include the Reserve line number on your bid card and this would include a Reserve block bid. For example, if you bid 1401-1427 and are awarded line 1427 (a 15 day off line) you are not entitled to restoration of days off or the Reserve minimum guarantee of 78 hours. The days that will be restored are indicated in the monthly Reserve line lines with a "Z".
