FAA-Mandated eLearning Reminder

As a reminder, United is requiring completion of the FAA-mandated eLearning module titled “Revision 6 Summary & Assessment” (REV#6) by 2359 April 28, 2011 to be compliant and maintain flying qualifications. This eLearning is accessible from the United Learning Network, under the catalog code REV#6.

In order to be considered compliant and qualified, all flight attendants must do the following prior to April 29, 2011:

  • Read and insert revision #06 into the Flight Attendant Operations Manual (FAOM).
  • FAOM revision #06 and the new announcement book are dated April 01, 2011; however, the effective date for both has been changed to April 29, 2011.
  • Log April 29, 2011 as Revision #06 insertion date and Bulletin #03 removal date.
  • Complete the eLearning module titled “Revision 6 Summary & Assessment” (accessible from the United Learning Network, catalog code REV#6).
