The FAA has mandated two significant changes to RET pre-work requirements that impact flight attendant qualification effective July 6.

  1. Flight attendants may only take the RET e-learning within their may-go, training or grace month. RET e-learning taken outside this timeframe will not receive FAA credit and must be repeated within this timeframe for qualification to attend RET classroom.
  2. Flight attendants will be disqualified from flying upon the second failure of either of the two RET pre-work assessments.

Detailed information will be available in the Skynet RET pre-work packet July 6.

Flight attendants preparing for RET are encouraged to thoroughly read through the pre-work packet prior to beginning the e-learning modules and assessments.
