The LAX base is located in Terminal 8, across from gate 80 behind the United lobby counters. Using the security code, enter the door adjacent to the restrooms. The elevator is down the hall to the right. The base is on the second level and Flight Operations directly below on the first level. The new S-CO satellite base will share facilities with S-UA LAX, currently home to 1,661 S-UA flight attendants. No additional badge is required to enter but please ensure your crew badge is displayed on your outermost garment above the waist.

The LAX Duty Desk is staffed from 0530 until 2100 daily. You can reach the Duty Desk at (310) 342-8540. The lounge is located in the center of the base and may be accessed through the image room or a door in the lobby area; code 2351. There is a sleep room within the lounge area. Offices line the base perimeter with coordinator cubicles in a central area.

Burbank Airport: Burbank airport can be accessed from either the 5 or the 134 freeways. Both freeways have exits that are clearly marked for the airport. Once you exit the freeway, follow the signs into the airport.

Parking

Badge:
Parking Lot "Cards" are distributed one month at a time beginning the 15th of the month prior. Please stop at the Duty Desk to obtain your parking card. The top of must be hung on your rear view mirror with the month of issue facing outward. The bottom of the pass must be detached and kept with you to show the bus driver on boarding. Please afford the parking tag the same care you give your personal credit cards. You are responsible for any replacement costs, should it be lost or stolen.

Enter E Lot from 111th St, which runs between Aviation Blvd and La Cienega Boulevard.

Employee Shuttle Bus
A shuttle bus departs the lot on the hour, and every seven to eight minutes thereafter. For example, 0600, 0607, 0615, 0622, 0630, 0637, 0645, 0652, 0700. Buses are sometimes delayed due to loading/unloading, traffic, etc. It may require 15 to 30 minutes to arrive at either terminal; please plan accordingly. The bus stops in front of ticketing for Terminals Six and Seven where traffic allows. Transportation is often crowded during shift changes. Until you become familiar with peak periods, allow extra time to ensure an on-time check-in. Only take the bus marked "E Lot."

There isn't a clinic on site but Concentra is readily available and open 24/7 located just down Century Boulevard. You can take the Sheraton hotel shuttle and walk to Concentra right next door.
