Location and Contact Information

The DEN base is located on the "B" Concourse. Walk to the center core and use the cipher code/DIA ID Badge to enter the door near the elevators by It's a Wrap restaurant. Take the elevator near the back of the hall to the fourth floor. The new S-CO satellite base will share facilities with S-UA DEN, currently home to 1095 S-UA flight attendants. Denver International Airport does require additional badging in the form of a Denver International Airport (DIA) badge. Please obtain a form from the Duty Desk. This process must take place before you obtain your parking tag. An appointment is needed with Access Services, (303) 342-4300 whose main office is located on the A concourse, fourth floor above gate A46. Hours are Monday through Friday, 0800 to 1600 but closed the third Thursday of the month from noon until 1500. There is an additional satellite badging office at 7640 Undergrove Street, Unit A, Denver CO 80249.

The DEN Duty Desk is staffed from 0500 until 1930 daily. You may reach the Duty Desk by calling (303) 348-3011.

The lounge is located to the right when you enter the base. There is also a sleeping room in the back right corner of the lounge. The Director's office is located behind the Duty Desk and supervisor offices down the hall to the left.

Parking

Denver International Airport ID badge: Mandatory for parking access (available for DENSW based Flight Attendants)

  • Pick up application from a coordinator in the domicile.
  • Schedule an appointment with the city for testing and badging. (303-342-4300) for either the "A" concourse office or the satellite office.
  • Bring two forms of identification (one must be a photo ID).
  • Badges are issued at "Airport Security" which is located on the "A" concourse above gate A-46 (take the elevator next to Lefty's to level 4) or at the satellite office which is on Pena Blvd as you enter the airport property.

Parking or RTD (city bus) options:

  • Parking medium (tags, stickers, decals, etc.) from previous domicile must be turned in to previous domicile before parking is available at new domicile and parking screen must be cleared by old domicile.
  • Choose Parking (annual hang tag issued) or RTD (monthly voucher issued each month to be used towards purchse of monthly pass or single ride tickets).
  • Once your choice is made, you may not change until the next quarter (change forms are available and must be received by the Administrative Assistant no later than the 12th of the last month of the quarter for change effective following month). For example, request change before March 12th to change on April 1st, and December 12 to change on January 1st.

Parking

  • Pick up a 2004 Parking Tag information form from the Administrative Assistant (M-F 8-8:30)
  • Employees need an access card to enter the parking lot - either the DIA ID badge (Denver based employees only) or a Denver Airport Swipe Card (commuters).
  • Proceed to the DIA Airport Parking Office (located on level 5, North West corner of the main terminal). Their window hours are 7 days a week 0630-2200 to obtain Hang Tag.
  • Employees are required to provide for the city their vehicle information (license plate number, state, vehicle type) for any vehicles they may drive on an Employee Date Sheet (available from te Administrative Assistant, Coordinators, or at the Parking Office).
  • Be prepared to show DIA ID badge or parking swipe card to obtain a Hang Tag.
  • It is the responsibility of the employee to file a police report in the event that the hang tag is lost or stolen and then to contact the city parking office in the main terminal to purchase a replacement tag.

RTD

  • Vouchers are available at the Coordinators desk from approximately the 25th of the preceeding month through the 25th of the current month (i.e., pick up a voucher on December 26th, it is the January voucher, or pick it up on January 20th, it is probably still the January voucher). One voucher per employee per month (these are signed for and must be picked up by each employee - no proxy pick-ups.

Parking Lot Directions:
Follow signs from Pena Blvd. to the Employee Parking Lots (Landside or Airside) which are located to the East of all the car rental agencies on the North side of Pena Blvd.

Medical Information

Location
Terminal Building. Concourse B, Center core, Mezzanine level. From the train, take either escalator up to the Mezzanine level (Level 3), look for the door to Medical on the SW side (overlooking Gate 36, across from the smoking lounge).   From the gates, reach the center core by following signs for baggage claim, then take any escalator up one level to the Mezzanine. The west escalator near Benjamin Books is closest to the medical dept.
