When do I get paid?

You get paid twice a month.  The paycheck dated the first of the month is an advance based on 70% of 65 flight hours.  The paycheck dated the 16th of the month is the total due less the first of the month advance.

If a pay date is on Saturday or Sunday, direct deposits will be processed the previous Friday.

When will I receive my Pride bond?

A properly prepared Pride bond request, received by Payroll by the 15th of the month, will be processed in the order received, and a bond issued approximately 8-10 weeks after the 15th. If, however, the request is not completed properly, the form will be returned for correction.

How do I begin, end or change my paycheck direct deposit?

To have your paycheck deposited directly into your financial institution's account, other than the United Airlines Employees' Credit Union, a direct deposit form must be completed and either a voided check (for checking account) or deposit slip (savings account) for the account attached.  Once processed, the employee will receive a letter stating that in approximately 2 pay periods the direct deposit will be ready.

To stop a direct deposit complete the section of the direct deposit form indicating a request to stop.  It takes approximately 2 weeks from the time Payroll receives the request to the time your paycheck will no longer be deposited. 

To change your direct deposit complete the section of the direct deposit form indicating a change request.  Once processed, you will receive a letter stating that the direct deposit will stop and the new account will be ready within 2 paychecks. Direct deposit forms can also be located at your domicile, or by calling (888) PAL-LINE.

How do I get copies of my W-2s or paycheck stubs?

You can get the W-2 reissue request forms by either calling the CARE Center at (866) UAL-PAYS or Unitel 700-6997 or through Payroll's web page on SkyNet. There is a $25.00 fee for the first W-2 copy for prior years and $10.00 for each one thereafter. There is no charge for a copy of your current year W-2.

Paycheck Stubs: You may request a copy of your paycheck stub by calling Unitel 700-6997.  Because of the confidentiality of these documents, they will be sent to either address we have on file (company or home), unless we receive signed written authorization requesting otherwise.

How do I change my W-4 Allowances?

If you would like to change your allowances complete a new W-4 and forward it to Payroll at United Airlines, WHQPZ, P.O. Box 66100, Chicago, IL 60666. You may also obtain a W-4 from your domicile or by calling the Payroll CARE Center at Unitel 700-6997 or (866) UAL-PAYS.

How do I end my insurance or charity deductions?

You must submit to Payroll a signed written request specifying which insurance coverage you would like to terminate.  Send your written request to: United Airlines, WHQPZ, P.O. Box 66100, Chicago, IL 60666.  Or you can COMAIL it to: WHQPZ.
