Hello.
I thought I'd give several updates all in one place as to some recent changes/improvements for the website.
Here they are:
You asked for it, you got it: all of the articles that were published on the homepage are now in one place. And, you don't need access the Crew Lounge in order to read them. Keep in mind that only public articles comprise this list. However, I am moving away from a private "Crew Lounge" and converting more of the site into a public area. People don't like to log in, and I also hate remembering passwords, etc. Therefore, expect to see more expansion of this and easier to access news articles. You also have an ability to scroll and page through the various stories.
Here's what it looks like:

Lastly, you have an ability to subscribe to the news feed for all articles. If you are unfamiliar with news feeds or RSS, it is an awesome way to keep up with latest news.
In the past, the links and addresses to the news pages on JSN look something like this: http://jumpseatnews.com/details.aspx?NewsID=2046
Effective immediately, all news stories now have more reader friendly address links. So in the example above, it would look like this:
http://jumpseatnews.com/2012/12/new-aircraft-and-new-report-times
I've been working hard to go after the individual(s) who attempted to hack into the website. Without giving away detail, I have made significant progress and they are going to have a very difficult time in the future trying to get their business promoted on the Internet. In fact, I'm pleased to report that Google has restored the JSN search engine ranking---and as of right now JSN is now #1 if anyone performs a search for "Flight Attendant Resources", "United Airlines Flight Attendant Resources", etc.
The "Most popular stories" has now been repaired and displays the top 10 or 15 of the most popular articles for the current month. I had a few problems with this but a fix is now in place. Because it was INOP for several weeks, some of the stories on the list might not actually represent the most popular recent stories. In another few days the list should be back to normal and fully accurate.
That's all for now.
Enjoy!
