Hello, this is Charlie Ahmes with a special Update for Sunday, September 10, 2006.

Tomorrow we mark the fifth anniversary of the tragic events of September 11, 2001 . We will remember the colleagues, friends and loved ones we lost in this terrible tragedy for our country and our company. To mark the anniversary at United, we are reaching out to the families whose loved ones remain in our thoughts and sharing our reflections of our own experiences during those difficult days.

Despite the many challenges we have faced individually and collectively, you have shown enormous resilience since that fateful day. You pay tribute to our fallen colleagues every time you put on your uniform and continue the work you do best, ensuring the comfort and safety of our customers. I am very proud of the entire Onboard Service team.

Please take a moment and join me in remembering our lost colleagues and their families, together with all those who lost their lives on that terrible day. We will never forget them.
