Response to Hurricane Katrina

The day after Hurricane Katrina hit the Gulf Coast and New Orleans, United
employees and millions of others are coping with the storm's devastations. Our
thoughts are with everyone in the region, and we will do all that we can to help
provide relief in the coming days. We are in the process of tracking down all
our employees who work or live in the New Orleans area, to make sure they are
safe and to see what we can do to help them. We are also working with the
American Red Cross and other nonprofit organizations to determine how we can
best assist in the relief effort. We continue to think of the people affected by
this storm, and will do whatever we can to help.
