Double-check your DFAP

Excerpt from DEAR AFA:

The first month of three-person ID mixed narrow-body and wide-body flying will come to a close on Monday.  AFA expressed many concerns about mixing this flying including concerns with bid awards, operational issues and pay issues for Flight Attendants in the purser position.  We advised Flight Attendants to double-check your DFAP to ensure it reflected wide-body purser pay as outlined in Section 5.B of the Contract for the entire duty period containing the wide-body segment.

Earlier this month, we were contacted by Members who discovered that their DFAP was only reflecting wide-body purser pay for the wide-body flight and not for the entire duty period containing the wide-body segment.

The company has been researching this issue and has committed to fixing Flight Attendant pay files prior to the closing next week.  Still, we encourage all Flight Attendants to review their pay files to ensure this activity is properly posted in the DFAP.
