In this Holiday Season and at the end of what has been an extraordinary year, I want to thank each of you for all your hard work, dedication and professionalism. I know that the good work that you have done over the past year occurred at the same time that you and your families were making significant sacrifices to help ensure the survival of our great company. I appreciate and thank you for all of your efforts. I am very proud of the entire team in Onboard Service. Despite tremendous obstacles and incredible uncertainty, you responded with innovation, renewed commitment and confidence. You have shown enormous resilience and have continued to serve our customers very well by providing safe, reliable and attentive service to them. I believe that 2004 holds great promise for our company. We are entering a time of renewal and the restoration of confidence in United. I know that by continuing to work together, we will achieve many great things in the year to come. This is a season of celebration, joy and reflection, and a time to be with family, friends and loved ones. My very best to you and yours for a joyous holiday season.
