Hi, this is Glenn. I want to thank all of you who either called, e-mailed or simply mentioned your support of my four-point message of last week. We will only be successful if we focus on our respect for one another and our appreciation of our customers.

I know that last week was also occasionally frustrating as we witnessed frequently conflicting press accounts of our cost-saving discussion with the various unions that make up the coalition. The facts are really pretty straightforward. Our dialogue with the unions that make up the coalition continues on a daily basis, as we work to update and improve our business plan and our ATSB loan application.

We also continue to work closely with a number of potential sources of out-of-court funding for our company. And we'll update the board of directors on our progress this week. Everyone is working long and intense days, and we are working to a very precise decision timetable.

On a parallel track, I continue to be gratified by your focus on respect for one another, customer service and safety in operations. This week, for example, a number of things have crossed my desk that represent the kind of effort that I'm talking about. United has no flights on the U.S. Department of Transportation's list of chronically late flights. In fact, we've only had one flight on that list all year. That's the best performance of all carriers. Southwest has the most flights on the list and Delta is second. Also, with baggage scanners online at 106 United and all 131 United Express stations, we continue to lead the industry in that context. The only other airline that is even close to us is Northwest.

There are countless other things each of us can do to run our airline better than our competitors run theirs. If we stay focused on that mission and keep our heads up, we will set the standard for the industry. That's it for today. Have a great week, and I'll be talking to you soon.
