Officials at Heathrow, Stansted and Gatwick face walkouts and are contingency planning to minimize disruptions in response to Unions calling for a series of strikes over pay.

More than 4,000 employees including security guards, engineers and passenger service staff were set to walk out for six days, including two of the busiest summer weekends which could potentially shut down these airports.  The dates potentially impacted include July 26 & 27 as well as August 5, 6, 23 & 24.

Keep these dates in mind as you plan your summer travel and/or commute through London in the weeks ahead.
