Personal Time Off (PTO) among the contractually negotiated schedule flexibility options provided for in our JCBA. Unlike a Personal Drop (PD), there are specific PTO allocations at each base that are awarded on a seniority basis with half of the allocation awarded at fifteen (15) days prior to the request date or and the remaining allocation five (5) days prior to the requested date. Remaining allocations can be used up until 0001 of the requested day subject to the needs of service. Because there are limited allocations which are guaranteed to be awarded based on seniority, once awarded, PTO cannot be rescinded or removed from the Flight Attendant’s schedule.
