On Thursday, July 25, 2018, harmonization of the process of entering transfer requests via a common transfer request platform became available to Flight Attendants.

The language in our JCBA ensures Flight Attendants are able to submit up to two (2) base (transfer) preferences and may withdraw their request at any time prior to processing of transfers. Once transfers are awarded, Flight Attendants have seven (7) days from the date the transfer was awarded to respond, either accepting or declining the transfer opportunity.

To submit a transfer request or resubmit a previous request:

1. Log in to CCS

2. Go to Home → Bidding → Transfer Requests

3. To submit a new transfer request, select “New Request”

Flight Attendants are made aware of awarded transfers through CCS and will receive a priority message when logging into CCS. The Priority Messages page will have a message entitled “Award Transfer Notification”. Select “Acknowledge & Delete” if you would like to delete the message

from your Priority Messages inbox, or select “ Acknowledge & Save” if you would like to save the message to your landing page. The action of accepting or declining the transfer is a separate function as follows:

Accepting or Declining a Transfer Award

1. Go to Home → Bidding → Transfer Requests

2. On the Transfer Requests page under “My Current Request”, the status will display “Award Choice One” or “Award Choice Two” depending on which preference was awarded.

3. To accept the transfer award, select “Accept” or to Decline the transfer award, select “Decline”

4. Once your selection is submitted a confirmation page will be displayed.

No Response to a Transfer Award

Failing to accept an awarded transfer within the seven (7) day allotment window, will cancel the transfer request, recorded as a decline and will result in you being unable to transfer for three (3) calendar months. The award will automatically move to the “My Past Requests” section and the “Inhibit Until Date” will be updated to reflect three (3) calendar months from the last (seventh) day of the decision period. Review the Harmonized Transfer Award Guidelines for additional information.

Your Local Council Representatives are available to address questions and concerns.
