On Sunday, November 4 at 2:00 AM, clocks in the United States and Canada are turned backward one hour from Daylight Saving Time (DT) to Standard Time (ST). Most areas of the United States observe daylight saving time (DST), the exceptions being Arizona (with the exception for the Navajo tribal land), Hawaii, and the overseas territories of American Samoa, Guam, the Northern Mariana Islands, Puerto Rico, and the United States Virgin Islands.
This time change results in a “longer night” on Sunday and we gain of an hour of additional rest when we “fall back.” Take the time to review your Line of Flying to ensure that you have the most accurate flight information and don’t forget to set your clocks back one hour before you turn in on Saturday night.
