ASA, Republic & Skywest Agreements Cancelled

This week, United informed us that the recently announced Reciprocal Cabin Seat Agreements with ASA, Skywest and Republic have been cancelled. These agreements were announced last week and scheduled to begin March 9. Despite having reached agreements, implementation is unable to continue due to concerns regarding the express carrier seat inventory controlled by the respective mainline carriers. The cancellation of Republic does not impact our current agreement with Frontier, which is owned by Republic. Despite this unfortunately setback, we will continue our advocacy regarding these and other agreements in the industry.

United Airlines has signed Flight Attendant Reciprocal Cabin Seat Agreements with the following airlines:

 

  • Atlantic Southeast Airlines (ASA) (flights operated as Delta Connection)
  • Republic Airways (includes Frontier, Midwest, Chautauqua and Shuttle America (except UAX flights))
  • Skywest Delta Connection (flights operated as Delta Connection and Airtran)
