Interline Agreement with Air France Suspended

Source: SkyNet

Date: Nov 24, 2010

Effective Saturday, November 20, the Employee "ID” Reduced Rate Travel Agreement between Air France and United will be suspended indefinitely.

The suspension is due to Air France's decision to no longer issue paper tickets for travel on other airlines. As a result, Air France will no longer accept paper tickets from other carriers.

Air France is moving to an “e-ticketing only” environment and has not yet been able to propose an alternate solution to United. Paper tickets issued prior to November 20th will be honored for 90 days from the date of issue.

We hope it will be possible to renew our agreement with Air France in the near future. Please note that a number of our other interline partners provide travel options to France.
