IYE is for youth, ages 14-19 years of age.  They are matched with youth their own age from an airline family abroad.  Each youth hosts in their home for two weeks.  The youth are together at both homes.

The program is coordinated by a retired airline employee.  IYE has matched over 1900 youth of airline employees since it began in 1994.
