Uniform Points

It's already mid-October and the year is quickly nearing its end.  If you have yet to spend your 2008 uniform points, now is a good time to contact Brookhurst to put in an order.  The Useful Sites page on www.unitedafa.org has a direct link to the Brookhurst website along with instructions for how to determine your User ID, Password and PIN.  You may also call Brookhurst at 1-800-252-0853 (within the United States) and 1-310-763-3846 (Internationally) Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM Pacific Time to place an order. Flight Attendants who will soon begin their Voluntary Furlough may want to get their order in right away.  If ordering uniform pieces prior to the start of the furlough they will be shipped just like any other Flight Attendant on active status.  Uniform pieces will be held while Flight Attendants are on Voluntary Furlough status.

Some Members were waiting for the release of updated uniform items before placing an order in 2008.  The company has confirmed that redesigned uniform pieces will not be available before the second quarter of 2009, so don't wait to use this year's points.
