The annual Benefits Open Enrollment for medical and dental coverage takes place every fall, and this year it opens the same day as primary vacation bidding, Wednesday, October 29th.  Open enrollment will close November 19th and the benefits are effective on January 1st, 2009 for the following calendar year.

Once Open Enrollment closes with your 2009 healthcare selections, you may not change your selections unless there is a qualified "life change" in your family status during the Plan year.  The Benefits Service Center contact information is available on our "Useful Sites" web page and the Benefits Section of the website contains an article about Open Enrollment.  We encourage you to read through the article to help you and your family make good decisions about your benefits.
