The majority of votes cast have determined that any future Profit Sharing Payments will be distributed to the Defined Contribution Plan accounts.  This means that if the Profit Sharing Program is triggered with $10 million in pre tax earnings for the years 2006 and beyond, Flight Attendants will receive a distribution based on individual earnings for the year the profit sharing is triggered.  This payment will be deposited into tax deferred 401(k) or like accounts as a company contribution with regard to IRS or other government maximum annual contributions.  Profit Sharing payments, if activated, will be made in April of the year following the fiscal year upon which pre-tax earnings trigger profit sharing.

If a Member is not eligible for a 401(k)-like account in locations outside the U.S., then the distribution will be made in cash, post tax. We have successfully identified a 401(k)-like plan for Members based in the U.K. and we continue to work with the company to set up 401(k)-like arrangements for other Members based outside of the U.S. who do not qualify for tax deferred 401(k) accounts.
