CHICAGO, March 14, 2005 – On June 7, 2005 United Express is introducing daily nonstop service between Monterey, Calif., and United Airlines' hub airport in Denver, the only non-stop daily service between the two cities.
"Our new United Express service will make the Monterey peninsula -- a world-renowned tourist destination and golf haven -- more accessible for customers in Denver and beyond," says Sean Donohue, vice president of Ted and United Express. "Customers flying from Monterey also have greater access to United destinations in the U.S. Midwest, East and beyond."
Service to both destinations begins June 7, and tickets are available for sale. United Express carrier SkyWest Airlines will operate the new service with a 50-seat regional CRJ aircraft. United already provides non-stop daily Los Angeles-Monterey and San Francisco-Monterey service.
