CHICAGO, Feb. 15 -- United today announced it will launch a daily nonstop flight between Chicago O'Hare and Munich, beginning June 7, 2005.  This new service is in addition to United's existing daily Washington Dulles-Munich service.  United's new flight, open for sale today, complements the Chicago-Munich code-share flight currently operated by Star Alliance partner Lufthansa, giving customers an additional schedule option on the route and timed to provide convenient connections from both cities on United and Lufthansa.

In addition to nonstop service to Munich, United also serves Frankfurt, Germany, with two daily nonstop flights from both Chicago and Washington Dulles, and one daily nonstop from San Francisco.

Flight 906 will depart Chicago O'Hare at 5:50 p.m. on June 7 and arrive in Munich at 9:50 a.m. the next day.  On June 8, Flight 907 begins operating from Munich at 3:20 p.m. with an arrival time in Chicago of 6:15 p.m. the same day. United will operate the flights with a Boeing 767 aircraft that seats 193 passengers -- 10 in United First, 32 in United Business and 151 in United Economy, including 71 in United Economy Plus(R).
