During new hire training, the training center will operate in many ways like a domicile to better prepare new hires for the “real world.” United’s newest domicile will carry the code: CHISW.
“We want our new flight attendants to be self-reliant when they emerge from training,” said Jeff Greenman, manager Onboard Training.
Flight Attendant Scheduling will build the IDs for training flights. Trainees will check in for flights, their names will appear on the FLTLOF, and they will follow the same procedures as line flight attendants do in the case of irregular operations.
Trainees will also have full access to systems such as Unimatic and CATS.
