United Airlines Expands Service into the U.S. Southwest Region Through United Express Partner Trans States Airlines

United Express will offer service to seven new markets from San Antonio, Texas, and two new destinations from New Orleans


CHICAGO, Nov. 22 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- United Airlines with United Express® partner Trans States Airlines today announced new service between San Antonio, Texas, and seven cities, enhancing travel for customers throughout the United States. Tickets are now on sale.

"These new routes from San Antonio will complement our existing service and offer our customers convenient access and more flying options to cities all over the world, including our hubs in Chicago, Denver, Los Angeles, San Francisco and Washington, D.C.," said Sean Donohue, vice president - Operational Services, United Express and Ted.

Effective February 23, 2006, United Express and Trans States Airlines will offer twice daily service between San Antonio, Texas, and New Orleans and daily service between New Orleans and Oklahoma City, Okla.

Beginning March 3, service will also be added between San Antonio, Texas and the following cities:

    -- Albuquerque, N.M. - twice daily
    -- Colorado Springs, Colo. - daily
    -- Kansas City, Mo. - daily
    -- Oklahoma City, Okla. - twice daily
    -- Omaha, Neb. - daily
    -- Tulsa, Okla. - twice daily
