I was pretty shocked but sooooo happy to hear the news yesterday about our flying partners in LASSW and MIASW.

One sentence from the DEAR AFA tape made me laugh: "The flying assigned to Flight Attendants in LASSW and PHLSW will be independent and discreet to those locations."

Discreet to those locations?  Does this mean that our flying partners in LASSW will now need to whisper into the PA:

"Psssst!  We're going to be landing in Vegas soon.  Cover your ticket stubs and be VERY QUIET when exiting the aircraft."

Well anyway, a very happy day indeed and congratulations to everyone based in those locations.

And lets not forget a SPECIAL THANKS to all our AFA leaders as well as the local flight attendants based in those domiciles who helped negotiate and make this happen.  Without them those domiciles would have been buh-bye.

And to UAL management: a sincere thank you for your reconsideration.

Damn good news indeed!
