Reserve Preference System Issue – Check Your Preferences

Last night we became aware of an issue with the Reserve Preference System that affected all domiciles west of Denver. Specifically, the program did not properly send Flight Attendant preferences to the system for consideration when completing the Reserve assignments. As a result, all open positions were assigned in Time Accrued Order but did not consider Flight Attendant preferences.

In our discussions with management, we learned the problem was related to one of the servers used by the Reserve Preference System. We will be continuing our discussions with management in the days ahead to ensure steps are put in place to avoid a recurrence of this issue.  However, we strongly encourage you confirm that any preferences, including standing preferences, you may have placed on file remain in place and can be viewed in the Reserve Preference System.
