Alliant Credit Union, formerly the United Airlines Employee Credit Union, continues to grow and change.  For some of us, the Credit Union may no longer resemble the Credit Union of years gone by.  The evolution continues and more changes are in the works.

Starting in July 2018 and ending in October 2018, Alliant will start the process of closing most of its branches as part of a continuing evolution into digital banking. Two branches will remain open near Alliant’s headquarters in Chicago – the West Touhy location and the office in Willis Tower.  (Remember, access to the Willis Tower facility is strictly restricted to United employees badged for access to Willis Tower offices.

The concept of closing locations for Alliant is not at all consistent with its current growth rates. Membership has grown by 11.6% and mobile banking app customers have increased by 17%.  Investments in digital capabilities including evolving online banking, deposits/loan applications, the Alliant mobile app and member support functions will continue.
