Retroactive Holiday Pay to be Paid on July 14 Paycheck

Premerger CAL and CMI - Holiday Pay earned since the September 2016 bid month through June 2017 bid month will be paid on the July 14, 2017 paycheck and listed on your Pay Advice as “Retroactive Pay”.  By classifying the pay in this manner, the earnings will be considered for 401(k) contributions, Profit Sharing and the defined benefit plan.

All future Holiday Pay for the five (5) contractual holidays will be paid within the pay cycle for the schedule month in which the holiday falls.

The five (5) contractual Holidays for the United States and Guam, per Section 2.Q. of the Joint Collective Bargaining Agreement (JCBA) are:

  • New Year’s Day,
  • Independence Day,
  • Thanksgiving Day,
  • Christmas Day, and
  • Flight Attendant’s Birthday.
