Good news! Section 5.C – Hotel Gainsharing, of the Joint Collective Bargaining Agreement (JCBA) has now been implemented for all United Flight Attendants.

Hotel Gainsharing (Section 5.C.) occurs when a Flight Attendants cancels her/his hotel room no more than seventy-two (72:00) and no less than twenty-four hours (24:00 Domestic) or forty-eight (48:00 International) prior to the original check-in time for the trip. If a Flight Attendants cancels their hotel room in accordance with the provisions of our Contract, she/he will receive no less than twenty dollars ($20.00) for each cancelled hotel room.

Reimbursement will be provided in accordance with Section 5.C of the JCBA and will be processed by Crew Pay. This will usually show up on your paycheck one month after making your gainsharing request.

All Flight Attendants: will use CCS in order to make their hotel gainsharing request. You can log in to United’s CCS platform via https://ccs.ual.com or the quick link found on our homepage. United has also provided a CCS user guide that can be found on our website.

A Hotel Gainsharing user guide can be accessed under Help in the upper right hand menu of your CCS home screen.
