Medical Verification for Holiday Sick Calls

Flight Attendants who have had no absences in the prior twelve (12) calendar months will not be subject to the Medical Verification requirement imposed during defined holiday periods. Defined Holiday periods include: Thanksgiving and the period from Dec. 20, 2016 to Jan. 4, 2017. And, will apply at each pre-merger subsidiary in the following way:

CAL: Section 9.H.5 - Medical verification is required for sick leave usage for any pairing that touches Thanksgiving Day. A release from a physician will be required to return to work. 

CMI: Section 11.I.5  - Medical verification will be required for any sick call that originates four days prior and four days after the Thanksgiving holiday, including Thanksgiving Day. A release from a physician will be required to return to work.
