We’ve received a number of questions from pre-merger CAL Flight Attendants questioning the seniority date information that is listed in the Employee Services area of the company’s website.  Specifically, we have had several pre-merger CAL Flight Attendants contact the MEC office questioning why the “Bidding (SW Classification) Date” listed on this webpage does not reflect the training adjustment as determined by the Seniority Merge Integration process.

In our discussions with management we have come to understand that all systems that affect competitive bidding activities have been updated to include the additional training days.  The information in the Employee Service area is part of the PeopleSoft™ program and is for display purposes only.  We have been assured by management that this information will be updated to reflect the seniority date adjusted for training in due course.

To reiterate, seniority information used for all competitive bidding purposes has been updated to include the training adjustment in those company systems used for scheduling.  If you have additional questions, please contact your Local Council Office.
