Yesterday, transfers were awarded to ORD, DCA, and IAH with an effective date of January 29, 2016.  While the award of transfers is not typically a noteworthy item in E-lines, what should be noted is that these transfers are being awarded while bidding for Phase III (Tertiary) Vacations is ongoing.  Because the effective date of these transfers is after December 30, 2015, Phase III vacations will be awarded at the “old” (former) domicile regardless of the date on which you accept the transfer. All awarded vacation periods at the former domicile will be vacated and all vacated primary vacation periods will be placed in the interim vacation bid at the former domicile.

Flight Attendants reporting to DCA, IAH & ORD on January 29, 2015 will be required to bid in the first interim vacation bid following their report date. In this instance, the February interim vacation bid.
