As we approach the second year anniversary of the ratification of our 2012-2016 Agreement, we can look forward to the hourly rates of pay and vacation increases which become effective on February 28.
These increases include:
Hourly Rate of Pay (Section 5.A.1. and Section 5.A.2.)
Vacation Pay (Section 18.K.1.b.)
After February 28, 2014, Vacation pay will increase from 3:00 to 3:15 per Vacation day, if you had at least 936 hours of flight time credit in 2013. This is an average of 78 hours per month. You can find out how many hours of flight time credit you accumulated for last year in Unimatic using VACINC.
If you did not accumulate 936 hours of flight time credit in 2013 you will continue to receive 3:00 per Vacation day. For more information on how Vacation is accrued, please see our Contract Education piece on Vacation Accrual (Section 18.B.2.).
