This is awesome.

It was just posted on unitedafa.org that United Airlines has gone on record to oppose the recent TSA policy change allowing knives on planes (AKA: Stupidest Idea of the Year 2013).

In a statement today, the Sr. Vice President, Sam Risoli indicated: “United is opposed to this change and is informing the TSA that we disagree with this aspect of their proposed screening procedures.”  In the meantime, Mr. Risoli reaffirmed that the TSA Prohibited Items List has not change and that United’s procedures are not changing.

This is beyond outstanding.

I'm so darn proud of Mr. Risoli and his leadership team at United for opposing this ridiculous TSA policy change.

Well done, sir.
