Dear Person Who Hacked My Site,
I'm onto you.
In fact, I figured out (with the help of several computer security experts) exactly how you did it.
SQL Database Injection Attack using hexadecimal masking via a page in the JSN Unimatic news section. Sound familiar?
I have the log files from the incident. I have a record of your computer and IP address. I have the dates, times, tables and schema attacked, as well as the exact method in how you did it down to every last and glorious detail. And I have some other info I'm not at liberty to share here.
You, my friend, are in deep shit.
So, here's what I'm going to do: You had your fun and, in the process, taught me a few things about high-level site attacks, as well as how to make Jumpseatnews even stronger. Which, I just did. Luckily, you were unsuccessful in accessing the system tables and advanced site functionality. Instead, like a dope, you only hacked the news stories database.
So, here's my offer: Go away and stay away from Jumpseatnews. Do that, and I'll just consider this incident nothing more than a stupid waste of my time.
I'm not interested in anyone losing their job. But make no mistake about it: you do this again and I promise I will do everything I can to get you terminated from United Airlines. I know a lot of people, and this is not my first rodeo on the internet. You could have hacked and screwed with databases that hold email addresses of my fellow employees. And since Bailey is no longer around to protect the site, I'm taking this one personal.
You know what I'm talking about.
So, just stop. Stop what you are doing and never come back again.
Consider this your lucky day.
