On September 1st United transitioned to a new payroll system. Part of the transition to the new paycheck system is that your pay check information is now online in United's Skynet, available in electronic format. This format includes the separation of Pay Advice and Statement of Earnings, which are now two separate documents. Pass Travel charges are also a separate document as well. You can access United's Skynet "My Info – My Pay Information" directly through a link provided on the useful websites section of our website.

Once you sign onto Skynet, go to the right side of the homepage, under the heading, “Employee Services” and click on the link at the bottom, “My Pay Information.”

After clicking “My Pay Information” you will arrive at the page where the different pay statements are located. You can click on “Pay Checks” to view and/or save your paychecks, and “Statement of Earnings” to view and/or save a breakdown of your pay for the months listed. In addition, you may view your Pass Travel Charge Details, by clicking on that link.

Update from AFA regarding new payroll system:

September 20, 2011

Last week we discussed issues some Flight Attendants are experiencing related to United’s new payroll system. Remember, Section 4.J.4. of our Contract requires that the company make any adjustment of $50 or more as soon as possible, but no later than 4 weekdays after notifying the company.

On Friday United payroll acknowledged an error in programming to Flight Attendants and advised us they would be completing a payroll run by September 20 to identify any employee whose pay difference was greater than $1 for the September 16th pay date. If your issue is not resolved by today, September 20, 2011, contact [email protected], 847-700-6997, or 1-866-825-7297. If you are still unable to resolve the issue, contact your Local Council, so they may file a Notice of Dispute.

Some issues Flight Attendants have experience include improperly identified pay factors, incorrect deductions, and incorrect Sick Leave balances on pay advice and vacation accrual indicated as hours instead of days. Additionally we’ve heard reports of excessive hold times when contacting corporate payroll. If you have experienced an overlong hold time please provide the details (date, time and name of person you spoke with in corporate payroll) to your Local Council to document for follow-up.

On Friday we posted an article to assist you in navigating to the new electronic format of your Pay Advice, Statement of Earnings and Pass Travel Detail. Please refer to this article if you need assistance getting the new format of electronic advice on Skynet.
