The time for Vacation bidding is almost upon us. In preparation for the opening of the Contractual bidding timeline outlined in Section 18 of our Contract, before the end of September, (likely on September 29, 2011) the Company will post the Reserve Letter lists in the domiciles.

The Primary Vacation bidding period opens on October 29, 2011. Consistent with the requirements of Section 2.W. of the Contract, the following are dates for the 2012 Flight Attendant Schedule Months. We want to highlight some important changes to the 2012 Flight Attendant schedule months:

Note: 2012 is a Leap Year. As provided in Section 2.W. of the Contract, February will be a 31-day month. In addition, the company has provided notice to AFA that September schedule month will become a 30-day month (8/31 – 9/29) and October will be a 31-day month (9/30-10/30).
