New Unimatic Codes for Jury Duty

Date: Jun 11, 2007

Beginning June 12, two new Unimatic codes, JDA and JDU, will replace the use of ABS and DNF when a flight attendant is removed from the schedule for jury duty.

JDA will be used to reflect a removal from schedule when jury duty authority exists in the work history and JDU will be used when removed from schedule for jury duty without authority.

These changes make the Unimatic line of flying and work history (FDWH) codes consistent. The new codes also allow for better tracking and trending of trip removals and staffing requirements for resource planning purposes by separating jury duty from other uses of ABS and DNF.
