It was created because it is darn difficult, if not downright impossible, to obtain domicile statistics information easily without having to remember cryptic DIS codes.

Most of the time, you have to find or remember those DIS codes.  Or, you need to visit SkyNet which doesn't always post the domicile statistics information in their 'domiciles' section.  Example: As of June 9, 2007, the DENSW section of SkyNet does not post the current Denver domicile F/A stats.

The new 'domicile snapshots' page also uses a new technology to Jumpseatnews called AJAX.  (what is AJAX?).

This technology allows you to select the domicile and see the information appear without the entire web page having to reload.  It's more responsive and acts more immediate than most web pages.  You'll start to see a lot more of this stuff on JSN.
