So, you need to have an offline I.D.90 ticket written up. You go to the nearest airport, stand in line for twenty minutes, and then have the agent tell you she doesn't know how to process an offline ticket. Say, Wha-aaat?
This is a scenario that will be repeating itself over and over again, as employees no longer have the luxury of using the 1-800 number in Chicago to secure the code needed to have a ticket written up at the airport of their choice.
In theory, all ticket agents should know how to writeup an offline ticket. In reality, many agents do not.
For commuters, this presents an unsettling dilemma.
Here's something that is sure to make your day. A CSR at Spokane International Airport, named Pam Srock, printed up a cheat sheet which you can reproduce on your home computer. Carry it with you, and whenever you encounter an agent who doesn't know the ropes re. processing an I.D.90, you can present them with a step-by step diagram which they can easily follow.
I have attached the cheat sheet in two different formats. One is a small, single page. The other consists of four separate pages in large print.
Please note: whenever you purchase an offline ticket, it is always best to use a debit/credit card. Reimbursement is easier than if you pay with cash.
If you want to thank Pam for her efforts, she can be reached: Pam Srock - UA - GEGOZ. By the way, she loves chocolate candy.
