Because of the high volume of ORD-based flight attendant trades on file causing the computer system to slow to a crawl, the ORD Crew Desk was unable to complete their open flying processing on August 1, 2000.  After discussing this matter with Crew Operations and AFA, it was decided to add an additional 15 slots of availability in the Domestic Daily Trade Quota.

They are requesting that ORD-based flight attendants who had a trade on file as of August 1, 2000, but are still having problems in being awarded a trade, to contact the one of the ORD Crew Desk supervisors.
