********** DECEMBER AIRCRAFT SCHEDULE REDUCTION ********** EFFECTIVE DEC. 15, SEVERAL AIRCRAFT WILL BE REMOVED FROM THE NORTH AMERICA SCHEDULE. THIS WILL INCREASE AIRCRAFT RELIABILITY BY PROVIDING SPARE AIRCRAFT FOR THE SYSTEM OPERATION. THE RESULT WILL BE A COMBINATION OF CHANGES TO FLIGHT DEPARTURE TIMES AND CANCELLATIONS. THE SCHEDULE REDUCTION WILL AFFECT 13 AIRCRAFT FROM DEC. 15 TO JAN. 7, AND REDUCE TO SIX AIRCRAFT FROM JAN. 8 TO FEB. 15. FLIGHT ATTENDANTS WILL BE NOTIFIED VIA PHONE OR CREW SCHEDULE CHANGE NOTICE (CSCN) STUFFED IN MAILBOXES OF SIGNIFICANT ID CHANGES DURING DEC. 15-30. MINOR FLIGHT DEPARTURE TIME CHANGES WILL BE POSTED ON THE DOMICILE SCHEDULING INFORMATION BOARD. REASSIGNMENTS WILL BE MADE IN ACCORDANCE WITH SECTIONS 9.B. AND 8.J. OF THE AGREEMENT. ANY CHANGES TO THE SCHEDULE FOR JAN. 8 AND BEYOND WILL BE REFLECTED IN ADDENDUM KEY PAGES FOR THE JANUARY BID. IN CERTAIN DOMICILES AND IF NECESSARY, BIDS WILL BE DELAYED TO ENSURE FLIGHT ATTENDANTS HAVE THE MOST CURRENT INFORMATION FOR BIDDING. UNFORTUNATELY, THE SCHEDULE CHANGES FOR DEC. 31-JAN. 7 CANNOT BE INCLUDED IN THE BID PACKAGE, AS THE CHANGES WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE UNTIL AFTER BIDS OPEN. ONCE THESE SCHEDULE CHANGES ARE AVAILABLE, THEY WILL BE LOADED INTO THE COMPUTER AUTOMATI- CALLY. REASSIGNMENTS WILL BE MADE IN ACCORDANCE WITH SECTIONS 9.B. AND 8.J. OF THE AGREEMENT. FLIGHT ATTENDANTS WILL SEE A NEW ID IN THEIR LINES OF FLYING ONCE THE REASSIGNMENT IS MADE. THE SCHEDULE REDUCTION WILL ONLY AFFECT NORTH AMERICA MARKETS. THIS INCLUDES MOST FLEET TYPES. NOT ALL DOMICILES WILL BE AFFECTED BY THE SCHEDULE CHANGES.
