Defect and Workaround Solution for Lineholder Picking Up Out of Base from Reserve

AFA and the company have identified a defect that occurs when a Reserve Flight Attendant has advertised a pairing that has either been assigned by Crew Scheduling or picked up on their days off, and an Out of Base Lineholder Flight Attendant attempts to pick it up. Currently, CCS does not recognize this type of trade and the Flight Attendant will receive the error “319 Base Mismatch”.  As long as the trade meets all other Out of Base trade rules, as provided in Section 7.J. of the JCBA, it should not be rejected.

Until this defect is fixed, a workaround solution has been developed to allow these types of trades to be processed. Should you receive this type of error message when attempting this type of trade, please contact Crew Scheduling directly at 1-800-FLT-LINE, option 1, option 2.  They will update your schedule so that you can resubmit the trade and allow it to be processed.

**Remember, all other trade rules and legalities still apply**

New Pay Claim Enhancement on Pay Register

The company has announced we will have the ability to view details about paid pay claims on the Pay Register. This enhancement will be viewable on June 10, 2019 at 2200 CT. Any pay claims that were paid prior to June 1, 2019 will not be displayed. Only those pay claims that were paid after June 1, 2019 and thereafter will be viewable.

The Pay Claim feature is found on the Pay Register, within the box titled “Total Month’s Pay”
