Last week, the company awarded transfers to satellite bases at Orlando, FL (MCO), Phoenix, AZ (PHX) and San Diego, CA (SAN) effective for the September 2019 bid month. Flight Attendants are reminded, under the provisions of Section 17 of our JCBA, once a transfer is awarded it must be accepted within seven (7) days of the award date. In this instance, transfers must be accepted no later than Tuesday, July 2, 2019 at 2359 CT.  Flight Attendants who accept the transfer will be restricted from submitting additional transfers for a period of six (6) months.

If you decline an awarded transfer, you will be restricted from submitting additional transfers for a period of three (3) months.  Flight Attendants who fail to respond to the transfer award will be considered as having declined the transfer and the (3) three-month transfer inhibit will be applied.  Additional information concerning satellite bases can be found on our website at unitedafa.org.
