Crew Schedule Planning has indicated there may be opportunities to award a One Month Special COLA for the May 2019 bid month.  While the number of Special COLA awards and locations at which they will be awarded have not yet been determined, now is the time for you to consider if this is something you are interested in considering.

Submit bids in CCS under the “Leaves” drop down menu. Select “Special COLA”

This Special COLA will include medical benefits at active employee rates.

Review Sections 15.C. & N. of the JCBA for further details associated with a Special COLA.  Pay and vacation longevity are not impacted for step increases.

Flight attendants awarded the May One month Special COLA will be required to complete any overlapping assignments from April into the May bid month as provided for in Section 15.B.5. of the JCBA. If you do not wish to fly an overlapping trip you may adjust your schedule using the negotiated scheduling flexibilities contained in our JCBA.
