Our Joint Collective Bargaining Agreement (JCBA) Section 5.B.1. outlines the requirement for Flight Attendants to receive a hotel room for sit time, layover or irregular operations while we are on duty. 

In addition to layovers,

Section 5.B.1. requires that Flight Attendants be provided a hotel room when

a)    Scheduled at a layover station in excess of four (4) hours.\

b)    Delayed at a layover station for four (4) hours or more from the time the delay is known or after reporting for duty at the home domicile there is a delay of four (4) hours or more from the time the delay is known.

c)     As provided for in Section 28.E.5.which provides a lineholder Flight Attendant who commutes by air who receives no assignment or an assignment with a report time of five (5) hours after the Flight Attendant arrives at the base.
