The Company will build Reserve Move-Up Lines from the 1st through 5th day of the bid month (not the calendar month), to the extent adequate Reserve coverage can be maintained. All Reserves are automatically placed on the Move-Up List each month through the bid process, unless they choose to remove their name from the list. 

Reserves who would like to be removed from the list can do so by following these step-by-step procedures:

• Login to CCS
• Click on the grey silhouette in the top right corner
• Go to general settings
• Move up electing
• Check the box  -  Do you want to elect out of a Move-up line?
• Save

Reserve Move-Up Lines are lines constructed using unassigned pairings from open time that remains on the first day of the new bid month and will be constructed with either all Domestic or all International pairings. 


Reserve Flight Attendants are encouraged to review the move-up line process and to become familiar with the language of Section 8.B. of our Contract. Additional information, including the process involved with move-up line construction can be found on our unitedafa.org.
